Every year approximately 27 young men move to Fayetteville for the summer to play for the Fayetteville SwampDogs. From May 26th through August 15th these young aspiring ballplayers continue to hone their baseball skills playing 56 regular season games, along with some exhibition games.  Players come from all over the United States to participate in the Coastal Plain League and to be a part of the Fayetteville SwampDogs Baseball Team.

Over the history of the Fayetteville SwampDogs, the Host Family program has been a vital part of our team's success both on and off the field. Having the players become a part of a local family helps these young men have some sense of normalcy in a strange new city. Many of the players become more than a guest, they actually become part of the family. Experience memories that last a lifetime!

To become a Host Family.

• Provide a room and bed for player during the baseball season.
• Benefit: Host Family (immediate family members only) will receive box seat to ALL regular season home games.
