The Fayetteville SwampDogs are pleased to congratulate Max McDonald on being named the CPL Pitcher of the Week for Week 7 of the 2012 season. His brilliant performance in Wilson on Saturday night locked up the honor for the lefty from St. Edward's University.

McDonald tossed a complete-game shutout against the Tobs, while allowing just five hits on the night. His pinpoint control was on display once again, as he walked no batters during the nine innings he was on the bump.
