Fun-Go and friends were at the Cross Creek Mall on Saturday, October 11 for Sparky's birthday celebration.  Sparky is the hard working mascot of the Fayetteville Fire Department. To honor his hard work in the community, every year on his birthday, kids are invited to the Fall Safety Day.

There were many display areas for kids to enjoy courtesy of local and surrounding area fire departments and law enforcement.  Fun-Go and many kids learned the importance of smoke detectors, how to get our of a burning building and many other valuable lessons on safety and fire prevention.

The Fall Safety Day is an annual event hosted by our local firefighters, so look forward to this incredible event again next year!
